Time and Stress Management Course
Overview
Stress has become part of our everyday lives. A contributing factor to stress is an urgency addiction and a quest for more time. This powerful two-day workshop is about becoming aware of how you spend your time and energy and how to apply your time and energy optimally. It is also about understanding the impact of stress on your total wellbeing and how to manage stressful situations.
Course Outcomes
The outcomes of the Stress and Time Management Intervention are to become aware of, and to find ways to manage stress and time more effectively. The course outcomes are:
- a thorough time analysis, i.e. how you spend your work and free time
- identifying time robbers that impact on effective time management and causing stress
- insight into how your time-related behaviour impacts on others
- a personal profiling of three stress indicators:
- whether you are stress-prone
- your existing stress profile, and
- your external stress index
- determining what matters most to you; clarifying your core business and True North values
- an introduction to a new paradigm of time and stress management and developing practical strategies to implement these guidelines in your personal and professional life
- to align your governing values with your daily tasks
- a post-assessment of your time and stress related lifestyle and identifying correcting factors where necessary

This two-day course includes approximately eight sessions. The following themes are addressed:

- The impact of your time related behaviour on others
- Your stress profile
- Are you stress-prone
- Your Existing Stress Profile
- The impact of stress on your wellbeing
- Principles of effective time and life management
- Getting organised - steps toward effective time and life management
- Preserving and enhancing your energy
- Total Wellbeing
