Overview
The 16 - 24 hour Professional Leadership Intervention will benefit those who experience one or more of the symptoms below:

Course Objectives
The core objectives of the Professional Leadership Intervention is to become aware of and to master:
- leadership excellence
- 21st century leadership challenges
- the value and meaning of work
- leadership styles
- how to communicate with and motivate and empower team members
- time and stress management
Course Content
The Professional Leadership workshop addresses a 21st century leadership paradigm with special reference to leadership challenges and approaches. In this 2 or 3 day Professional Leadership Programme the focus is on:
- 21st century leadership challenges and expectations
- awareness of the culture and impact of the work environment
- the value and meaning of work
- Principle Centred and Moral Leadership
- Service Leadership
- Competent Leadership
- Coping with Stress, Worry and Burnout
- Developing leadership skills toward:
- locating motivation hot-buttons to enthuse team members toward optimal performance
- building trust in one's team
- effective communication
- re-energising one's team
- enablement of team members

Course Outcomes
The outcomes of the Professional Leadership Programme, among others, include:
- building a spiritually and emotionally intelligent organisation by:
- understanding the fulfulling value of work - the spiritual dimension of work
- the development of an inside-out, no-blame, service-oriented, principle and values centered work culture
- practicing leadership in one's locus of control (the emotional intelligence dimension)
- leadership and capacity building: the essence of effectively motivating and empowering people
- understanding and recognising symptoms of burnout and developing strategies for combating it
- improving communication skills for better team performance
- building trust in team and in the organisation
- more effective time management
- becoming aware of the power of and mastering service leadership and thereby creating a culture of service in the organisation
Programme Duration
- 16 or 24 hours, or
- Six times four hour sessions every week/two weeks/every month
