Practical Supervision





Overview
Practical Supervision is a management excellence course directed at understanding how a supervisor or manager can enable people to work together to achieve results. Practical Supervision is divided into the four well known management functions called POLC: Planning, Organising, Leading, Controlling.
These management functions in turn can be subdivided into over 20 supervision or management activities. The practical nature of this course is illustrated by means of approximately 14 case studies, 26 questionnaires and assessments and interactive indoor and outdoor activities.
Pre- and post-tests for Supervisor/Managerial Competence are included since this is a competency based course.
