Effective Communication
Overview
Communicating is the work of creating better understanding among people. Just like one cannot satisfy a hunger just by looking at a plate of food, understanding is not necessarily gained just by receiving information. Effective Communication is needed to ensure that the perceived meaning of one's words is the response you have hoped for.
Course Outcomes
The outcomes of this Effective Communication Intervention includes the following:
- Have insight in and deal more effectively with typical communication obstacles, problems and challenges in your life with special reference to the workplace.
- Be able to identify your communication strengths as well as areas that need development.
- Become aware of your level of assertiveness and it's relation to potential aggressiveness.
- Be able to upgrade your ability to give constructive feedback.
